Hi John

I found a very in depth answer you gave to Rachel's question about open rates, but was wondering if there is an average on click rates? Trying to test various elements on my funnel and was wondering what is normal when it come to clicks.

Thanks

Gadi

Hi Gad,

Click through rates vary a bit more. I've seen successful campaigns with 2% CTRs and others with 8% CTRs. But in general, I ike to see more than 3% and consider anything over 4% pretty good.

That said, it is far more important that you stay focused on your subscriber acquisition costs and subscriber value, as one can have an ad campaign that performs worse than average but is still profitable because the squeeze page and funnel perform so well. I see this a lot with very tribal genres, such as metal. Often the audience as very fierce opinions so you see big drop offs in certain stats, as you qualify your audience. But those that love the music may REALLY love the music and the end result can be that it still works out.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi John thanks for the reply

Did you mean CTR on Facebook ads or link clicks on emails?

If you meant Facebook then I was wondering if there is an average for clicks on links in the actual emails being sent out. For example, the second email on my funnel has a 70% open rate and 45% click rate. Is that good? bad? average?

Got my Facebook ads to between 6%-7% CTR, squeeze page to between 25%-35% conversation rate and now I'm trying to improve my funnel.

Thanks

Facebook ads.

That s really good. Typically a good email CTR would be about a third of the open rate, but again, this varies wildly. You might watch this lesson: https://www.mmmanifesto.com/in.....is-normal/ - It talks about what is normal.

Sounds like you are dong really well! Good luck.
