Hi John,
After our call, we ran ads to both the Alt - Rock target audience and The Ramones.
I stopped after 3 days, because face book only showed 2 results, however we actually had 6 after checking out aweber.
The prices were around $4 per sub, but I stopped early because I'm not sure whether facebook was in fact getting around the
5 actions per day it needs, since the iOS14 thing was preventing face book from reporting results accurately.
We talked about changing out our landing page photo with the winning photo from the face book ads and this is where I'm
thinking about going next, and then creating a new campaign and running more ads. Also, if the stats on face book are correct,
we had like 53 landing page views (unique landing page views had 0 - not sure what's going on there). The ads manager was a bit
weird, with no columns for reach or impressions. Not sure if we in fact had 53 landing page views, since unique page views didn't
seem to be working. But if it was working correctly, that's a horrible conversion rate. I know you had looked at our landing page and
thought it was pretty good, so I'm thinking it's the targeting, which I'll be starting on.
Any thoughts, insights or next moves would be great. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Jamil
Hey Jamil,
It's hard to say without logging in and looking around. I would contact Facebook support to ask about the discrepancy. But if I'm understanding you correctly, if you were spending $4 per sub and Facebook was reporting only 1/3 of the subs, then you were actually paying $1.33 per sub, which is pretty good, and well worth continuing. As for the conversion rate, what is Aweber telling you and did you clear out your stats before you started this campaign?

Hi John,
We actually spent $21 for 5 subs, so it's around $4 per sub. For Aweber, I started a new campaign to get fresh open and ctr rates.
I'll get in touch with facebook and see what I can find out there. I know you showed me how to check another set of stats on Aweber,
but I need to go back over our call and see how you had me do that and figure out how to clear those stats. I'll keep you posted!
Cool. I think the stats you are referring to are the sign up form stats. To do that you just go into sign up forms and reset them on the form itself. Hope that helps.
