Got a question IC...John or anyone with a thought on it,

Our funnel is based around sending traffic through our SQZ page - blog posts then to a sales page where we have our 2nd LP (latest release) for sale (14 songs).

Our up-sell is our 1st(debut record 12 songs) and our 2nd record, then lastly to a complete fan box (72 hours only - 2 records, demos, live audio and video..everything we have).

So here is the question...

Our Sales page is for our 2nd record... it is available on all streaming services (Spotify, Apple etc..)

But...

Our up-sell bundle includes our debut 1st record and IT is only for available on Bandcamp. (No Streaming services)

We were thinking about switching the funnel so that our sales page starts with the debut record(not available anywhere but through us) then up-selling the 2nd record (available on streaming/everywhere).... then on to the fan box set etc..

We feel like people get to the SQ page then just go on to Spotify or Apple music or Amazon stream it rather than buying.

The funnel took forever and the copy probably needs to be revisited and tweaked but don't want to mess with the funnel to much if this a bad idea. Thoughts...

Hey Mark,

My apologies for the slow response. I've been off for the weekend.

It's hard to say with any certainty what will worl and what won't until you test things, but I think the switch you are outlining makes a lot of sense. I've heard from a LOT of artists who report sales plummeting as soon as their album hit's the streaming platforms, which of course makes a lot of sense.

If it were me, I'd try switching up the offer and see what happens. It should be hard to update the funnel. It's just a new sales page and few updates to the emails.

Let us know how it goes.
