Hi, I know, most of you won't be able to criticize copy, but would you take a look at my Squeeze Page?

I'm doing split test, and my winner till now is only converting at 6%...  The ad is working ok, with 8 Relevance Score and 7 cents per click (traffic).

Any ideas??? THANKS A LOOT!

Hi Javier,

Steve here.  Unfortunately you're right.   Being that I'm not literate in Spanish, it's difficult for me to critique your page.

I did read the translated version of your ad, but even that reads oddly to me.

Let's talk numbers though.  You said the squeeze page split is only converting at 6%, which I agree needs to improve.  However what is the click through rate and relevance score on the best ad so far?

Let us know and we'll try to help.

Hi Javier,

Like Steve mentioned, it's really hard for me to offer any feedback because I do not speak Spanish and don't know what t says.

But when trying to diagnose a problematic funnel, this is how I look at it...

If your click through rate or your relevancy score is too low, then the problem is likely your ad copy, or your target audience. (With a relevancy score of 7, yours is a bit low.)

If your ad is doing well but you are not getting many subscribers, then it's likely that your squeeze page needs work. (At 6% your squeeze page conversions are very low.)

If your squeeze page is converting well but you are nit making sales, then you need to look at the email series and funnel content and make improvements.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Steve and John! I'll keep trying to tweak the squeeze page, but I'll also work on the english version. Maybe, if I manage to make the english version work, I can put into practice the keys in spanish....

Should I ask people who liked the ad, why they didn't sign in?

Thanks again!

Javier

Hi Javier,

Steve here.  Typically people don't sign up mostly due to their own resistance to filling out the form.  I wouldn't ask them why, but instead focus on overcoming that resistance through making a compelling offer and giving some good social proof.  The social proof elements let visitors know that others have taken the step to sign up and have had a favorable experience with your music.  That can help people overcome their natural resistance.

No there could also be a scenario where the visitor gets to page and there's a disconnect between what's on the page, compared to what was in the ad.  This means that you might to have a few varying squeeze pages, for varying target audiences.

Let us know if we can ever help with anything else.
