Just wondering if there's a way that I can switch my avatar. I uploaded a new one but it seems like the one at gravatar.com overrides it? Is there any way to force the forum to use my uploaded avatar instead that I seem to be missing?

Hey Mike, as far as I know there is no way to override what you have on gravatar unless you change your email address for this forum. You could always just change it in gravatar.

Unfortunately, the gravatar one will probably have to stand for now. It would be cool to upload a pic of me jamming on my bass guitar in this forum, but I'm not sure that I want it over the whole web at the moment.

Odd - suddenly my avatar photo changed and I just noticed it today...did you do anything different John? The black and white shot of my face has now been replaced with me playing a sweet blue burst bass - just what I was hoping for!

Weird - the old avatar is back again. I think it was just a slow-down with the site or something and it somehow pulled the uploaded avatar temporarily over the gravatar.com one...nevermind!

Not sure what happened there. Weird. There is an update for the forum. I will install it soon. I just usually wait for a little while with new updates so they can work out the bugs.
