Hey John, I'm just putting together my content for my monthly membership program and I've been looking at your content as a point of reference. I noticed that in one of your earlier lessons you included a pdf download as part of the lesson plan but that isn't something you frequently do. Is there any logic behind that or did things just go that way?

As of now my plan is to offer weekly half hour meditations and a lesson or interview once a month. So far, the one lesson I created is a screen video/audio of a keynote presentation. I have 4 video interviews and 1 audio interview. I wanted to get @6 months of material together before the launch.

Any recommends on whether I need written materials to support the videos?

No real rhyme or reason to the PDFs. Just something I wanted to offer but as you'll find, it gets hard just to deliver the basic content so as things developed I tended to strip down to only those things that really mattered. I still include them from time to time when they contain info that is helpful in PDF format.

As for your plan, sounds good. I don't think you need the written format, personally. Some might like it, but I can't imagine that it would influence your students desire to take the training. Especially not for something like meditation.

My only advice would be that you don't need to prepare six months of material to jump in. It will certainly take the pressure off, but when I launched the IC I only had the first month's lesson ready. My concern would be that you do all that work before testing the concept. But that's certainly your call. No real wrong way to go, I just want to see you getting those sales in as soon as possible.

ok thanks! I am leaning towards mostly live guided meditations with an occasional interview or q&a and a forum. I'm ready to go at this point but would prefer to hire someone to do the marketing as I got to see how much tweaking is involved running prior campaigns. I've been spending more and more time training folks and want to make sure I don't lose focus on doing that...

I just sent out an informal survey to one of my lists which has @1200 people on it. I was asking some formatting questions for the program. I got @ 250 opens and 14 responses. Is that good?

Honestly, I'd say that's pretty poor. I'd hope you'd at least get 5% of your list or so. You're at just a little over 1%. It seems to indicate a fairly unresponsive list. Unless it was just a fluke, or the copy somehow didn't get them motivated. But if the info was helpful then hopefully it gets you one step closer.
