Hey Mike,

I'll double check to confirm but I don't believe mobile browsers are flexible enough to display the pop ups. I'll let you know if I learn something different.

Hey - I have my squeeze page exit pop, "second chance" squeeze page (with a video), all modified code in place, it doesn't work. I am using the full MMM 3.0 system exactly as taught down to the smallest detail.

I did, however, have trouble downloading the exitpop code - so I viewed the source of the page the exitpop link sent me to, copied and pasted into a word processor and altered it there.

Was that my problem? Did I mess up the integrity of the html? If so, how do I download the code properly? Everytime I click on the exitpop code link it just takes me to a page thats blank except for one line of odd code at the top (not the proper html code that I know I need - which I found in the source)

Hey Mike, I'd say the download is the problem. Rather than clicking on it (which is actually executing some of the commands in the file, because it's an html doc), try right clicking and saving directly to your computer.

Sorry for the slow response. Been a busy couple of days.

Pretty sure I did that, and I also downloaded seamonkey to edit it, but I believe in starting from scratch every time something doesn't work do I'll give it another try

When I just click the link I get the same thing you're talking about. When I right click and save and then open up with an editor I get the entire script as shown in the video. Let me know how you make out and we'll go from there.

Yes I did it, right click, "save link" to my desktop, open seamonkey editor, opened the exitscript-final.html file within the editor, edited the html source script accordingly and dropped the exact pieces of code shown in the video into my MMM3 wordpress theme "header.php" file and my test page (text editor not visual).

Still nothing - and just to check I also tried the page in both firefox and safari.

is this script possibly outdated?

Not that I know of but it is a number of years old. I'll look into it and get back to you.

PS - what kind of page are you installing this on again? Was it html or Wordpress? And can you send me the link to the live page that you have the code installed on so I can take a look at the code and see what's happening?

Thanks. I think you need to use a plugin in order to drop the javascript in the code editor. About a month ago there was a major update to Wordress that effected javascript. I'm not using one that I can recommend personally, but it looks like this would do the trick: https://wordpress.org/plugins/.....t-toolbox/. I'm happy to test it, I ust need a little time. If you get to it first then let me know how you make out. Otherwise I'll update once I've had a sec to dig into it.

Now I'm in over my head - got the plug in, created a "new code block," chose header, pasted the code (that would have gone on the page html), chose my test page, that's about all I can do intuitively without more help. I'm obviously missing steps

I'd really like to get this going, it's the major add on I really want for our sign up pages.

Ok, I'll need to dedicate some time to this. I can't always support these older lessons because so much can change over the years. But I'll dig in and see if I can't get to the bottom of it for you next week sometime. I'll ping you back shortly.
