Without even realizing it, many of you are likely operating websites that are not doing a great job of delivering important emails to users, customers, and fans. This is because all of those messages that get delivered via your own server (such as contact form submissions, comment reply notifications, etc), are subject to your server's reputation; which is usually not that great.
Fortunately, there is a way to set up your site so that all of those important emails get delivered via your own email service provider (such as gmail), instead of your website's server, insuring nearly perfect deliverability.
In this month’s lesson I’ll show you how to set that up.

John,
at 11:00 in the video, you say fill in the email address that it's being sent from. Does that have to be a Gmail address or can it be an independent website address like info@website.com?
thanks
Hi Michael,
Steve here from support. Great question!
For the purpose of good email delivery, it SHOULD NOT be from a gmail account. Instead use an email address from your domain, like in your example.
What Steve said...
I don't believe aweber even allows you to send emails from free addresses. Email should always be sent from a private email such as the one you asked about.
