Hey John,
I posted this question here in the monthly lessons section because my question's about the monthly coaching call. I guess it kinda made sense to me. But anyway hope you're fantastic man, it was a great call along with the last one.
In the Nov. call I heard you mention your own CD release, and how you were intending to use the MMM funnel to get subscribers and "quickly upsell them a CD". Just to clarify, were you referring to a free CD offer? Were you referring to the normal 2 week relationship building funnel that ends with an LTO, or something else entirely? Thanks for sharing man, cool stuff.

Hey Brian,
I don't have anything completely mapped out, and my thoughts change all the time, but I've been thinking about creating a funnel in which I do the normal MMM approach and give away a free song or two but then try and essentially upsell the free song with a full album at a discoynt, and then upsell that with access to to a membership site. But also create multiple funnels to keep the pressure on and move people from one purchase to another. That could very well change up a bit as I test things.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey John,
Thanks for breaking that down. How would you quickly upsell the free song to discounted album? Like redirect people to a sales page with a discounted album?
i know it's not in stone or anything, so thanks for indulging me, I know this may be too geeky of a question to deserve a clear answer, I just dig this stuff and I value your approach.
No worries Brian, I totally get it. I would upsell the album on the thank you page for the free song(s), just like you would if it was a normal upsell after the initial order. But in the case the initial transaction is signing up for a free download.

Nice! In this type of upsell copy, would you mention the free download(s) they just got? And would this be a one time offer, like a typical upsell?
I would be offering the album, which would contain the download they just got. But I'd be offering it at a discount which would medicate the fact that they already had one song.
I would present it as a thank you offer, but I wouldn't say that it was a one time offer. Then the funnel would take offer per usual to build that bond up and continue to push the offer. Eventually I would get to the LTO and stress that time was running out.
