Hi John-Hope this finds you well-
I'm going to include guitar lessons on my Nav bar-Curious as to your thoughts on the best way to set this up? Since the lessons will be on video, is it best to upload the lessons to youtube-set it on private so it'll be exclusive to my members and connect the link to my membership site so it's displayed on my guitar lessons page?
Also, wanted your opinion on if someone joins my membership site in June-2021, they'll have access to all my music and lessons from January2021.....Is there a way to limit access for those who join later or is it best to just leave each month's music and lessons up continually? I know on the Insider's Circle that all material is accessible no matter when you join.......
Thank you in advance
Anthony

There are many ways you can do this, but the way I would do it is to link to the sales page in the nav bar (much like I link to products and services on the MMM home page), and set up the videos in a password protected members area using Wishlist (or similar) like I show you in the recent lesson on membership sites. I would personally pay for a premium Vimeo account and embed the videos in the members area. I don't like charging people for youtube videos (unlisted or not). It becomes easy to share and also just looks cheap to me. But some do it.

You can limit content, while still creating an automated evergreen membership site, by creating a membership level for each month and setting this up so that someone gets unsubscribed from one level when they get added to the next level. You would also set it up to hide content that is not available to them.
So in other words, you could create a membership level for month 1 and a membership level for month 2, and then set up an automation rule that says after 30 days they should graduate from month 1 to month 2, while unsubscribing from month 1. And as so long as content they are not subscribed to is hidden then it will all feel pretty seamless.
You can do all of that with http://musicmarketingmanifesto.....m/wishlist.

Thanks John-
I signed up with Wishlist when setting up the membership site so
I'll check out some of their tutorials on the different membership levels
and automation rules and hopefully get this together-
I'll keep you posted
Sounds good! Let us know how you make out.

Hi John-
First, I'd like to wish you and your family a Very Happy-Healthy New Year....all my best wishes in 2021!!!
I've been setting up the membership site sticking close to the lesson-very exciting stuff... I'm keeping it as simple as possible to start out with but I can see the room for expansion in the near future....
Also working on Sept. 2020 progressive web app lesson-quick technical question:
I'm confused as to which text to delete specifically for the images and how to re-upload them into the text editor once I've saved them on my computer (how do I get the text from the saved images to insert onto the page?) Hope that makes sense-it's at marker 28:00 on the lesson video. Would you break it down for me a bit? I'm just about done setting everything up but wanted to make sure I got the delete/insert images part right.....don't want to pull from your bandwidth.
I saved all 4 of the images to the downloads folder so far....I think that's correct? Should I Delete from src=" to jpg ??? and once I do what do I insert back into the page from my images (they're saved as IMG?) Long winded question but I hope it makes sense......
Thank you and talk soon
Hi John-Good News!
Forget that last post-I think I figured it out-
Went back to old MMM lessons....deleted everything in between src=".........to jpg.....keeping quotes.....uploaded pictures into media....copied url and pasted. All good...
Thanks again
Anthony
