In this lesson I’m going let you look over my shoulder as I walk you through a successful ad campaign that I’ve been running over the last 30 days. We’ll literally turn back the clock and go through each day of the campaign to help you get a sense of how a campaign unfolds, what you need to focus on, and moreover… to show you what’s possible.

That's great, and perfect timing!

I'm going to have to watch this 3 or 4 times.

Can you share the financial return recouped from the autoresponder series during the month, assuming he has a product for sale?

Hi John,

Enjoyed the lesson as always, thanks.  Tunepipe looks exciting (great name!) and I know you've only hinted at the big picture of all it's going to do. if I'm getting the general idea right here, it's a kind of plug-and-play theme with a lot more design flexibility and more functionality(?) but I find it a little disappointing that it sounds like it'll be tied to an outside host? Guess I'd been hoping it would have been more like an upgrade to the MMM theme.

Are there still going to be MMM theme updates or improvements for those of us that have set up/invested in hosting, are learning Wordpress, jumping through all the hoops to get nearly to the point where it's all up and running (and who might still rather be able to get under the hood?) Or will the MMM theme be abandoned/outdated once Tunepipe is launched?

I'd dread the idea of having to migrate everything to a new host and pay yet another monthly fee after working away on this for such a while. But maybe I'm missing something?

Thanks,
Thomas

So far this campaigns only focus has been list building. His album doesn't come out until August. So right now there are no subscriber value numbers. But we will be releasing the album as a $25 package and so I expect it to do fairly well.

Hey Thomas,

Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Tunepipe is a website builder, aimed at removing all of the headaches that the average musician has with FTP, hosting, security, updates, etc. It's more than just a theme. It's initially dozens of themes (eventually hundreds), plus proprietary plugins, tools, integration, etc. And while it is powered by wordpress and works similarly, it is not quite the same as just having wordpress. For all those reasons and more it needs to be tied to one server that we can manage.

The MMM theme will never be abandoned. But nor will it have the functionality that TP has. It's like any other theme. It is designed to offer a certain look and functionality. That won't change at all. And you can always modify the theme to do much more, like with any wordpress theme. However the goal with TP is to take it to the next level and make it much easier. So ultimately you're fine either way. You can 100% continue doing what you're doing with the MMM theme. It will just be a matter of what features and designs you find desirable.

It's not 100% certain, but we are looking into offering some kind of an option in which we would manually copy over your existing site to the new platform for anyone who wanted to make the switch but did not want to have to rebuild their site themselves. The TunePipe fees would still apply, but we might be able to take on the work of making the switch easy for people. But we still need to take a look at those man hours and see if it's feasible or not.
