I recently discovered TweetDeck and have been learning how to use it to research fans/leads. It's a pretty nice tool that allows you to organize columns of things you want to monitor on Twitter. I've used it to set up a column that displays anyone tweeting about one of the bands that I'm told I sound like (Joy Division). Based on that information, I can either strike up a conversation or follow the person on Twitter.
I've essentially followed (over time) all of the followers of this band's fan Twitter and wanted to move on to another "related" band. However, there is no fan Twitter feed for them.
So, I was wondering is it possible to set up a Twitter fan account for the band and have it automatically curate tweets so that fans of that band will follow the feed. Then, I can hit them up by following them.
I think I've seen "bot" feeds, if that's what they are called, but I don't know how to make one work.
Hey Tim,
I haven't actually tried this but I believe it can be done with https://roundteam.co/ - You may have to dig into it a bit. Let us know if that works and what kind of results you get. It's not a bad idea.
