John: that's very reassuring, thank you. Yes, conversions seems to be the way to go. The next step for me will be to get my Pixel properly set up for my website. The integration with Bandzoogle is really straightforward, but trying to work out what privacy notice to include to comply with the UK's data protection laws is proving a bit of a headache! I'll get there though....I don't suppose you have any links you could recommend for this? (it occurs to me you probably don't have to work with GDPR in NZ and the USA!). No worries either way, and thanks for the advice as ever.

I don't have any one privacy policy generator to recommend, but if you just google free GDPR privacy policy generator you will find a ton of options. It shouldn't be a major stressor.
