First of all, hello all - have just joined up and am looking forward to forward to learning and sharing.

We have a existing email list gathered over several years - but to be honest, we have rather neglected with infrequent and inconsistent posting unclear messages etc.

I am planning to port it over over from Constant Contact to a new Aweber account, but my question is this:

What can we do for our existing list to reconnect and develop with people in the spirit of the MMM philosophy and approach?

How do we as it were, re-introduce ourselves and begin a more consistent regular communication with people who may have been on the list but hardly heard from us for ages?

Any suggestions, most welcome!

thanks

PS Sorry for the upper case headline. cannot edit that!

Hey Stephen,

Welcome to the IC. Great question...

What I would probably do is start by creating a welcome email that offers them a free gift. An EP; a few tracks; something substantial. If you are comfortable with video you could even make a short 2-3 minute video just being real with people and explaining exactly what you just said to me, and letting everyone know that things are about to change as you embrace a new period of engagement, and to thank everyone for sticking with you all this time you've got a free gift which they can download below the video... kind of a thing.

That make sense?
