Hi John
I think the platform may have changed a bit since MMM 4.0. I'm having a bit of trouble with my conversion goal. Firstly, I'm not sure if my custom conversion for leads is set up correctly. I have attached a screen shot. Would you mind having a look? It seems that I am unable to edit conversion goals and that I can only create or delete them. I have already used this conversion goal in a campaign. If I'm using the same slugs and website, do I need to create a new conversion goal each time I start a campaign in fb ads? What are the steps to set up a conversion goal for sales? Thanks
Hi Jean,
To my memory, nothing has really changed with conversion goals. Not in any significant way anyway. Your screenshot seems to indicate that you have something set up wrong but it's hard to say without looking around in there. I have made a special video for you and added it to the new Tips and Tricks section of the members area, which you can find here: https://www.mmmanifesto.com/in.....ps-tricks/
The video is currently being uploaded so if you get this within 30 minutes of me posting this, you may not see it yet. But it will be there shortly.
Hope that helps.

Jeez thanks man, my apologies for the hassle.
if something isn't set up correctly with my existing conversion goal, do you suggest I delete that and follow the video creating a new one? I noticed you selected conversions as your objective. For my first ad campaign I had traffic as an objective. Don't think it makes a difference with the conversion goal but thought I should let you know.
Thanks again for the video.
No problem. You're not the first person to ask so i thought it was good to have the resource.
Even if traffic is your objective, you still want to have a conversion goal set so that you know how many subscribers each ad has brought in. You just need to add the conversion goal to your custom view in your ad manager.
If you are getting conversions and they are not being recorded then something is wrong. I would try setting it up again.
Cheers.

Conversions were being recorded and I did add it to the custom view in the ad manager eventually. You said something looks like it's set up wrong from the screenshot I sent you. What should I do?
If conversions are recording then nothing is wrong.

Awesome, I thought maybe if I had set up something incorrectly in custom conversions then it could potentially throw things off with the metrics. If not, then cool. Thanks John
