Hi John,
So we got this very interesting message (above) after running our first ads. After 12 impressions, the account got shut down due to 'policy violations'. We did nothing different than the example you used for Elm Treason in the Lessons. Not sure why it got shut down. One of us is living in Japan and one in California, so we're wondering if maybe facebook is seeing a lot of logging from different IP addresses frequently that aren't in the same country - something I think an AI bot may flag as suspicious?
Or something else? Any insight would be helpful!
And i'm also thinking about using my personal fb pixel to insert into our website and continue to run the ads from my ads manager. Do you think this is a good idea?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Mathew,
What reason is FB giving for the suspension? It's possible that you did something in your process or copy that is a violation of their terms, but it's more likely that this is an error. Facebook has been famous for suspending accounts in error over the last few months. This seems to be a result of ramped up security surrounding the election. Usually a message to Facebook advertising support gets the situation resolved.
You can use either pixel. I tend to stick with business tools though.
