I couldn't find a thread for this so I started a new one. I'm thinking of taking out a FB ad using the template from MMM. If you have a minute check it out and let me know what you think. Is it interesting, too wordy, any comments appreciated. Because I sound/look like Eric Clapton to a certain extent, I am targeting the keywords Eric Clapton. Here is the FB Landing Page – Man or God? The other thing is is that the cpc was quite high – $1.84-$3.50 something like that. John in his video recommends bidding 1/2 I think. I'm just wondering if the bid price increases the more countries you choose. I would like to target as many countries as possible as he is very popular worldwide.
Thanks everyone I appreciate the input!
All the best!

Looks good to me Cliff. I usually start around half if the prices are high like that but I quickly bring them down once I see how many clicks I'm getting at a certain price. Typically estimates are WAY higher then you will actually pay. But you do need to make sure you keep your prices down. It's going to be tough to profit on anything where you are spending much more than .50 cents a click. Ideally you want to get it down to 20. cents or less. But you usually need to start high, get some traction and develop a quality score before you can start to drive the price down.
As far as location, typically the more you can drill down your demographic the cheaper things will be. Go VERY targeted with each ad. Broad is typically a good way to spend a lot of money when it comes to advertising. It also makes it harder to track what is working and what isn't.
