Hi John
Please will you have a look at a message in my chrome browser regarding my facebook pixel. Just want to make sure everything is set up correctly before I start spending money again on advertising. Should I make any changes or does everything look fine to you? That message is when I visit my website and the other screenshot is my current settings at the moment. Thanks John
Everything looks fine, but I can't know for sure based on just that.
However, if Facebook is tracking clicks and conversions then everything is working. You should know almost immediately.
Cheers.

Just been trying to start a dynamic creative campaign and ran into this message "Your custom conversion isn't active". I deleted the 'lead' custom conversion goal that I had before because it had 'contains' instead of 'equals' and also because you said something didn't look right. I then created 4 brand new custom conversions. One new one for leads and the rest sales based. But now Im getting this message when creating the ad. See attached. Is this message just because it's a new conversion goal that doesn't have any past activity and I shouldn't worry about it or is something not right. I'm a bit confused why this is happening.
You need to open the page that is set as the conversion goal in a separate browser. For safety's sake hit F5 to refresh a few times. Then go back to your ad manager and hit F5 to refresh that page. It should go from grey to green.

Thanks for the quick reply, that did the trick. Just another quick one. The audience for Blind Melon in the US & Canada is only 87 000. I was wanting to optimise for conversions at $15 a day. Is that budget too big for that audience?
The ratio is not ideal, but I wouldn't hesitate to try it anyway. I have had success with ratios like that in the past. In an ideal world though, I like the budget to be $1 for every 10,000 people in the audience.

Hello All,
I just launched my first ad last night and have my first 2 subscribers!
However, neither of them seem to have been clocked by Facebook so haven't gone into it's Dynamic Creative processes for working out what combination of picture, text, etc. works best. When checking the pixel on my conversion page I found it's running ok, although only after I disabled an ad blocker on my browser. Is it possible my subscribers haven't activated the pixel because they too might have an ad-blocker?
All thoughts welcome - I'd like to make sure everything's running ok.
Cheers,
Keith
Hi Keith,
Congrats on getting your first subscribers!
I've not encountered that before so I don't think this is going to be a major issue. But I'm sure it's something that can happen from time to time. You'll never have 100% accurate tracking, which is why you always need to also monitor your Aweber stats, as you'll usually have more subscribers than FB says you do. People can have cookies blocked and all manner of other settings that would prevent something from being tracked. But it's usually going to be close enough for rock n' roll. It's concerning that 100% of your conversions have not been tracked. But it's also possible it's a fluke as 2 subscribers is really not enough to go on.
Do you have confirmed opt in on or off? If you have it on, it's possible that those subscribers have not confirmed and as such, they haven't made it to your confirmation page. Try using aweber's search function, and open up each subscriber to see what their status is. Are they active or does it say confirmation pending?
