I've been checking in every day. I'm glad she is finally here and everyone is OK. She is beautiful!
Thanks again gang.
I never even posted all the details but man, it was a really stressful pregnancy. So thankful everything turned out fine. First we were told that she came back at a 1 in 40 chance of down syndrome based on blood tests they do (that are highlight inaccurate and I wish we never took). I never talked about that for obvious reasons but that had us petty seriously stressed. Then my wife's water broke 6 weeks early, then they said she had diabetes, then she didn't, then she did, then they said they were wrong and she was fine. Then they thought she had a condition called Polyhydramnious (too much fluid), which 35% of the time means terrible things (like down syndrome so we were extremely stressed at that news), then they finally did a scan (they don't do them often in NZ) and said she didn't have it and all looked normal. Then they induced labor which they do at the 37 week mark whenever water ruptures early, but instead of taking the usual 4 - 8 hours took 48. Pain was so bad she vomited (that wasn't fun). But when the baby actually came it was pretty easy and straight forward, and as mentioned baby is happy and healthy and everything turned out as perfect as can be. So it was a big pheeeeeeeeewwwww, after nearly 9 months of really terrible stress and 4 weeks in the hospital. But we couldn't be happier now.
Just finally starting to get back to work. I hope to get you guys a new training module before too long, followed by a coaching call. Thanks again for all the support and patience.
