Hey John, great coaching call yesterday. Thanks for answering my question that was a big help.
Here's a real short screen capture to articulate where I'm at with it:

Ok, it just dawned on me that my podcast feed is identical to my site's blog feed, but it's just in HTML form?

Is that right?

If so, does the player just mimic whatever music is on my feed?

I could be way off lol, just starting to figure this out.

Hey Brian,

Thanks for the video. I'm not exactly sure why your feed is pulling something that you didn't add. It shouldn't be, to my knowledge. The way the feed works (with powerpress) is that when you create a post you would go down to the powerpress settings and add a track to that particular post. Then (if you want to) you would embed the powerpress shortcode in the post itself, wherever you want the player to display (not required).

See attachment.

Then any podcast player or feed, should only display the music that has been added to a post where you added the url to the powerpress settings.

Don't worry about what you see when you look at the feed. That is meta information for the feed reader. You don't need to understand it.

That said, I don't normally use my home page for a feed, I set up a category feed so that it only pulls from posts that I tag with a specific category.

If you are still stuck, just hang tight for a little while. I'll be creating a lesson on this and I'll make it a priority to help with your situation.
