Hi Guys,

Recently Wordpress updated to version 3.5 and I noticed I was having some weird issues with the buttons on the post admin interface. I couldn't get the button to edit permalinks to work or the link to schedule my post into the future.

I figured it was a virus and had the site cleaned up (turns out I did have a virus in there, but it wasn't the culprit).

The guys at Hostgator sussed it out as an issue with the Page Expiration Robot. Sure enough, I disabled that plugin and my functionality came back.

I know John recommends this plugin in his training, so I thought I'd mention this to everyone on the forum in case they've noticed the same problem with Wordpress. I love the PER plugin, but I'm hoping the developers will update it soon - otherwise I'm keeping it disabled for now.

Also just want to plug Hostgator, I've had nothing but good experiences with them for over 2 years. If you catch this message before midnight on Dec 21st - they have a great "End of the World" sale going on. Check it out at hostgator.com if you're in the market for a new webhost. They do domains too - but I only use them for webhosting so I can't say how their rate on that end of things.

Yeah, I had an issue after the update as well. There were quite a few problems caused by the recent wordpress update. Hopefully everyone has done their catch up now and all the plugins that broke now have fixes.

I also had issues with the WP update with my MP3 players.  I found they haven't updated that plug in for 2 years!!  So I am currently of the mind to NEVER upgrate again, LOL....updates always cause me pain in ProTools and now in WP.  If anyone has any info on MP3 plug ins for WP that work with the updates, let me know, because It doesn't seem like the developers of the current player I have are interested in keeping up with WP.

Which player plugin are you using? I just use audio player. No idea how up to date it is though. still seems to be working and my sites with it haven't been hacked. So so far, so good :-)
