Hi John, happy new year!
So, I need a little coaching guidance here...I've not EVER advertised on fb before for our music and been hammering out little detailshere and there and now I'm finally able to launch. I've been doing some research and a LOT of small businesses that use FB for advertising are saying they are being hit pretty hard by Apple's new privacy policy. So what do I do? I've got my dynamic creative all set up with targeting and really want to get my feet wet here, but I don't know if the numbers will be skewed because of Apple's new policy - maybe overthinking here...but maybe I won't know if it's my squeeze page or ads or Apple's new policy if my numbers are not looking good.
My intuition is to just go ahead and start advertising, but thought I'd drop you a quick line to ask your advice.
And when I do start advertising, what, if anything should I bare in mind that may be different to MMM 4.0 and FB Ads 3.0 typical results? What may be different; will anything be different?; what should I be looking out for?
Thanks a million!
Hi Mathew,
I will be putting out a podcast on this in the next few days and talking about it in tomorrow's coaching call. While it is an issue, it is much more of an issue for people using audience network and going after sales to a cold audience. So it won't impact us all that much. The new permission requirement has not been rolled out yet and there are still a few unknowns. For now it is business as usual.
