Hi,
Historically my aim has been to get leads for around $1USD or less. Recently I realised that the calculation wasn't really correct - I was tracking conversions, but not confirmations, and losing around 1/3 of people who never confirmed. (Turning opt-in off just meant my open rates dropped).
So I've started tracking confirmations (the pixel is on the confirmation page). However, my cheapest leads are now costing around $1.50USD, which is not quite enough to cover costs. (I get around $105-$130 back for every 100 leads).
Is $1USD a reasonable expectation when tracking confirmations?
Cheers,
Rachel
Hey Rachel,
Looks like you left this about a week ago. Somehow I didn't see it when it came in and just came across it now. My apologies for the slow reply.
Yes, it is still a reasonable price and many MMM students do get subs for less than $1. That said, $1.50 is not so terrible either, and you should be able to get a subscriber value stat that is way above that number. So it might also pay to focus on trying to bring up teh subscriber value with additional promotions. I'd approach it from both angles at any rate.
