Hey gang,
If you've spent any time on fiverr.com then you know how addicting it can be. However there is also a ton of crap out there. I thought I'd start a thread where we can all share gigs that we have used and which we feel others might enjoy/benefit from. Eventually I'll compile them all and create a database of sorts. For now you can just scroll through.
I'll kick things off...
Writer
This is the best writer I've found on Fiverr, and I've tried a lot. He takes forever though. But worth it. The only thing is that his titles are a bit lame and he is old school with his keyword placement. In otehr words he uses your target keyword to often. I usually end up changing the title and I ask him to only intentionally use the keyword in teh first and last paragraph, but that anywhere else that it's natural is fine. I still usually need to thin it out. FYI, you want to keep your keyword density pretty low these days. Just 1 or 2%. he's done a good 30 or 40 articles for me.

Video submissions
This guys is really nice, fast and will submit your video to all the sites in traffic geyser. If memory serves that's about 25 or 30. This is great if you're looking for some backlinks or just want to mass submit your latest music video without taking the hours it would take to manually upload to each one.

Get More Twitter Followers
I recently created a new Twitter account for a project and didn't want to promote it to my list because there were so few followers. Kind of a catch 22. I used this guy to get me 10,000 followers overnight. Now, these are dummy accounts. They won't do you any good beyond public perception. But it's a nice way to fluff the pillows and kick start that social proof factor. Another thing to be aware of is that when people create these kinds of accounts they often get banned. I had more than half the accounts drop off the first week. But many have stuck ever since. It's just something to be aware of. But this guy's ratings are better than average and as I say, thousands of his followers did stick. The fast turn around time is also a plus.

Love to here some more suggestions from you guys. Kat... I want your puppeteer, damn it 🙂
Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? awesome...Thanks John.
Ive noticed that the caps on the # of people you can follow on twitter is pretty much a % of folks who follow you once you reach a couple thousand. So, it may be worth the fluff. Especially if its not for your main twitter account.

Yeah, that's another good reason to use something like this. Though you'd want to let it sit for a while to make sure they were stable. Not sure how Twitter looks upon your account if suddenly you are following more people than are following you because 2000 accounts just got slashed. But imagine it wouldn't be too big of a problem so long as you continued to delete your unfollows anyway.

Well this one isn't as practical, at least directly, but it's pretty awesome. I'm sure some of you guys could come up with some fun ideas with this. I know I'm going to! http://fiverr.com/harpoonater/.....arth-vader
Awesome Scott. Thanks.

Hi John,
For the video submission via Traffic Geyser - I was wondering if there are any limitations on that? I've used a similar pay-as-you-go service, but the videos needed to be 'non-commercial' in order for them to be distributed.
I imagine most musicians who are distributing a music video would be safe, but if they were doing something that had 'commercial overtones' then it might not be accepted?
Yes, there can be limitations. But in my opinion it's sort of irrelevant as all we can do is make the video that we need to make and distribute it as widely as possible. And as you mention, for most musicians this won't likely be an issue. There are also non TG submission services that I have used as well that sometimes get a little more coverage. I just like the guy that has submitted for me with TG so I keep using him. I also like that they drip feed out.

Hey John:
Thanks for sharing these. The Video submissions deal looks great. I just put out a music video last month, we're at almost 800 views in the first month, which is a good start, I'm looking to drive more traffic there, so this will come in handy. Thanks.
Glad I could help Chris. All the best.

Hey John:
I used the video submissions gig you suggested a couple of days ago. Have you used this and do you know how it's supposed to work? I wrote the guy asking if I can expect to find my video on these other sites, didn't hear from him, here's what he sent me, I'm sure I'll see the results soon, yet if you have any feedback that would be great, thanks:

Hey Chris, the screen shot is too small for me to read but that looks like it's a series of links to where your video was posted. If memory serves he drip publishes them so they don't all go live at once. And that should be in the list as well. Does that sound right? I would check back on those URLs in a few days and see if your video shows up. I'm surprised to hear he hasn't responded, I've always found him to be very fast with answering questions.

The screenshot isn't an exact url of where the video is. It includes the website it's being added to (generally, such as "photobucket.com," date of the scheduled video upload, the ID (not totally sure who's id).
Ex (this is from his message):
Dailymotion.com
Scheduled: Mon, 10/28/2013 11:21AM; ID: 57969939.
I also checked a number of these sites and haven't found the video yet. I'm hoping it will show up soon.
I'm not worried about it though, expecting that I will be able to find the videos soon enough. Hopefully I will hear back from that guy too. Thanks again
Gotchya. Yeah, if the video has been published for more than a few days then I would just search the video headline in quotes and you should be able to find it. If not, I would be persistent with trying to contact the seller for details. I'm sure you'll hear back sooner or later.

Yeah, I don't yet see any evidence of the video on the sites he listed.
He said the video should be there unless the sites rejected the video for some reason. Don't know why they would. I'm hoping that if I keep checking they'll show up.
I have found that not 100% of the videos get published because of each sites terms and conditions, but nearly all of them do. I wouldn't stress it too much. At the end of the day it's $5. If the videos are not there by the end of the scheduled period, just use someone else for the next one. But I haven't had any issues with the jobs I have done with that seller.

Hi John,
Thanks for sharing. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Fiverr these days - love how cheap it can be, but I'm also annoyed because it seems like once I find a good supplier, their change their price or disappear. I had probably 4 or 5 (doing different things) that did that.
I guess that's what happens when you shop for price!
Hey John,
Thanks for the great info!
BTW, do you have other Twitter Follower adder on fiverr you'd recommend?
The link you had is dead. (:
Hey Chelsea,
Unfortunately I have not needed a Twitter follower service in quite some time, so I don't have a new pick. But if you search by rating and read the reviews, you shouldn't have an issue finding a comparable service. Just a reminder though, you can expect those followers to disappear in time as the dummy accounts get banned. It's only a temporary solution so that you have some social proof as you begin a promotion.

On fiverr there are a ton of gigs offering to promote your music, link, video, etc. to a million users, or my 100k Followers, or on my blog, or to 100 blogs, or 50 college stations, etc. Some have good ratings and are even "Top Rated" sellers. Heres an article mentioning a few examples. http://fiverrdaily.com/promoti.....ke-part-1/
Any experience with these types of gigs?
