Hey John, thanks for the feedback on that ad copy I submitted.
I want to get your feedback on two sales page examples. We haven't made much sales from either but I would be glad to get some direction here.

Thanks!
Ultimately, I think they look pretty good. With my approach, I don't tend to over do the copy on the sales page because in the funnel, most of the pressure to buy is coming from the strength of the bond and the general interest. So by the time they land there, the prospect knows the drill. You really just need to say, here's the album, this is what it costs, these re the highlights, you can listen to some samples.
So I personally like the shorter one. But I have no problem with the concept behind the longer one. In fact, I'd be very curious to know which one ultimately performs better.
If you are not seeing many sales then I suspect the issue is earlier in the funnel than the sales page. But I could be wrong. You mentioned that you are seeing sales... where are those coming from?

The short one hasn't had any traffic yet and the longer one has had a few sales. The bulk of them are from the up-sell to the free music when they first sign up. Oddly after I turned on confirm-opt in, they just tanked.
Maybe showing it immediately after signing up when their interest was peaked is what worked, idk. I'm considering taking that up-sell out altogether because I like having the confirm opt-in on and I haven't checked to see how that is affecting overall engagement and sales. Probably better to keep everything simple for now till I get a sense of things and then try more advanced stuff. It was really nice to get sales right out of the gate though.
I think the emails are the biggest problem here because my opens are 45% at best after the first email which is 96%. So since my blog posts and sales page hasn't had much traffic I think I should get those open rates up first. And I did rewrite all 6 emails and will run them in my next campaign. Hopefully after I can get some feedback first.
Hey Nicholas,
Yeah, like I mentioned above, the confirmed opt in should not be turned on for the customer lists, otherwise things will tank and you are introducing additional steps. I would keep the opt in on for the main list, but turn it off for the customer lists. You definitely want to redirect directly to the upsell page after order.
A drop from 96% to 45% is a decent drop It's not ideal, but it's not unheard of either. Your best bet is to work on the headline and see if you can get those numbers up.
Hope that helps.
