Hey John!

Hope all is well!

So my ad has brought in new opportunities for me and I'm not quite sure how to go about introducing my audience to some of them.

My ad was seen by someone who invited me to his podcast and now we're working on quite a few things together. One project is a game soundtrack (this one is on brand and fantasy related, so no trouble sharing it with my audience).

But I've also been offered two acting roles! One of them is for a horror movie and I get to smash up monsters 😀

I know there is definitely some cross over with my fantasy ambient stuff, a lot of my fans are rockers/metalheads. But some are really spiritual people.

I worry that if I was to share the announcement of my addition to the cast for example (which was accompanied by a creepy image of a demonic, blood stained mask) it might turn some people right off and shock or confuse them. Especially considering my previous social media posts are about stuff like unicorns or tranquil sunsets kind of thing.

It would be such a shame not to share exciting news like this with my fans...

I wonder what your thoughts are on this!

Cheers,
Mira

Hey Mira,

It's a good point you make. It always comes down to the USP. Do you think sharing that image clashes with your unique selling proposition?

Personally, I don't really think it does. It might be a little bit of a stretch, but it aligns somewhat with the sort of mystical vibe you have going on. And keep in mind, this is acting, and only the act of acting is an extension of your personal brand. The part you play shouldn't alter people's perceptions of you that much. But you might position things with that in mind.

But I would definitely share it. It's really cool.

Congrats! Very cool that the increase in reach is pulling in so many opportunities.
