Thanks for this. I checked the 'header' colour and it was already on completely transparent. It doesn't seem to be about a header issue -it seems to be more about how things appear in mobile view, as everything looks great on a desktop. Any suggestions as to what else could be causing this?

It's definitely a setting thing as I have seen many sites that have transparent headers on mobile. Here's a screenshot from someone using the theme for example. The large margin is because of her graphic rather than the theme.
But it's possible there is something else set that I am overlooking.
Next thing I would try is the "main background colour". Right now you have it set to white. It's possible that is showing through since it's set to transparent.
If that doesn't work, and none of the other background options change anything, you'll need to send in your login info via email. Have you done any custom coding to the CSS of the site?
