Ive got a pretty good handle on my funnel and follow ups.  I think its time to introduce the OTO upsell during the initial purchase process.  But how is this best implemented?  I use paypal on the purchase page.  Is there a way to send them to the OTO once they click on the paypal purchase link?

You can use the paypal redirect and send people to a page that says thanks for the offer, now here is another offer... kind of a set up. If you start generating some decent money I would switch to something like 1shoppingcart because you can use 1 click installs, etc.

I'm working on a service that will offer this for musicians at a much more affordable price but it's still a ways off from completion.

Hey Dean,

I do my OTO through paypal redirect and use the Page Expiration Robot.  Let me know if I can help!

Hi John I added a donations button to my website and in exchange for donations above $10 I'm giving away my debut cd, Something Peculiar. I'd like to set an expiration date on the link and automate the process with aweber. Currently the cd is uploaded onto AmazonS3. When I did a search it looked like you could set an amazonS3 url with an expiration date but it's so complicated and heady I thought you might have an easier solution. Please let me know. Many thanks! Julianna

if you sell through paypal, you can use page robot expiration so the url which contains the offer, expires.

i hope you're great!!  kat

Hey Julianna,

There are definitely ways to set up expiring links. But I don't personally do anything complex. I just redirect after the order to a OTO page. You can use Page expiration robot like Kat mentioned but I don't personally even do that (just out of laziness). With thousands of digital sales under my belt which require people to create a membership account after the order, I have never seen a single illegal account created. At least that I can remember. So I just really don't have too much of a concern about getting the process perfect. With that said, to do it right I'd do what Kat mentioned.
