Hmmmm, no "biggy"........pun intended?Cool

What would a jam session with Gordon Lightfoot, Collective Soul, and Damien Rice sound like?

Check out Greg Parke and you’ll have a pretty good idea!

I started tweeting about 1 year ago, stopped, then started again. I am now trying to tweet most days (quotes, info about trax, my label etc). To date I have sent out around 200 tweets- I have about 700 followers,  but no-one ever interacts with me! It is like I am sending out stuff and nothing comes back-what should I be doing or is that it?? btw I am @biggrooverecord and I will follow you back!

Are you using the autorespond strategy for twitter as outlined in MMM?

I only really use twitter for those two things, to build my list via a twitter welcome message and as a genuine tool for communication with fans. I think you'll find that when your list gets big and you are interacting with them a lot that your twitter activity picks up dramatically. You also want to make sure that you have your notifications turned on so that you can see if anyone is reaching out.

Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? Or perhaps you’re just looking for a little one-on-one assistance so you can ask questions that pertain to your specific goals and get a second, more experienced, perspective? Holy crap...did I ever get an example of the power of Twitter! I put up a tweet about getting a free track if you sign up for my mailing list. I had also just done a search of tweeters in my local area and started following some of them. One of the people that I just started following must have liked it, because she re-tweeted my tweet to all of her followers.......all nine thousand of them! Ok, it was really only 8,897 followers, but I'm not going to complain!

Awesome, that definitely happens. How many new subs did you pick up?

Not sure yet. I've done several things that might bring me new sign ups, and I haven't figured out what came from where yet. But I thought that was pretty cool!

I didn't "get" twitter for a long time. In many ways, it's more powerful than facebook.
