Personally, I'm becoming more interested in PPC and other forms of paid traffic. I'm now getting most of my traffic from PPC.
Google Adwords. Google is a mystery to me. They seem to have the most potential, but I can't seem to get through their process and get ads showing. The suggested bids on keywords also seem really high to me. It's probably something I'm doing wrong.
Privacy policies. Microsoft Network shut down my ad right before Christmas because I had an incomplete privacy policy on my landing page. Merry Christmas! LOL! Actually, I knew I was flirting with trouble, so it wasn't a shock. I've added a link to the Aweber privacy policy, and the customer service rep expects my ad will be up again on Tuesday after Christmas weekend. They have awesome customer service.
How much to bid. It's a balancing act to not bid too high or too low on keywords. I like to keep my ad about #3 so I don't waste money on "curious clickers." Obviously, that does slow traffic down.
Taylored landing pages. I'm adding more keywords to increase exposure. Basically, variations of "jazz," "smooth jazz," "the weather channel," and my sound-alikes. On Microsoft Network, I have pretty good relevancy scores using one "generic" landing page. I've heard that people often taylor their Adwords landing pages to their keywords to keep their relevancy score up.
GeoTargeting. I'd like to start doing this, but that's going to further limit my traffic. I expect it might be more expensive to geotarget?
Places to advertise. Since I'm trying to keep my ad costs down by not having it in the #1 slot, I'd like to advertise in numerous places so I can get my traffic up.
Those are my thoughts for now…
I'll second that...PPC is my next step. So, I'd love to get as much information as possible as I dig in in the new year. Ive already got primary and secondary touring markets. So, a geo-targeted approach sounds like the most bang for my buck.

I'm interested in learning more about the Youtube covers (legal or not) that you mentioned you were reaching out to a lawyer to discuss.
Also wondering if you've specifically trained on how to a) craft an offer b) hook it up to shopping cart - this can be tricky since you may or may not use Clickbank, Paypal or another ecommerce/shopping cart software.
It seems like there's be a fair amount discussed about the merits of and how to create a squeeze page and a list, but the creating the offer and hooking it up to actually be able to earn a sale seems to have gotten less attention thus far...
I know you've touched on all of these, but I'd like to learn more about:
1. writing copy
2. creating social proof
3. geo-targeting and other ways to get people to live shows
4. using sales triggers to sell more at live shows
