John, do you recommend starting with a product, building a list and then graduating to a subscription based model once you've got people on board, or is it possible to start out of the gate with a subscription model?

I'm thinking about how I signed up for insider circle and wondering whether I would have taken the leap if I hadn't already developed trust in the product as a mmm member...

You can do either. It really comes down to how persuasive you can be with your offer. With music I think it's most likely going to get better results to simply get people to buy your album first and then maybe introduce the continuity program as an upsell and/or a little later down the line. But it doesn't have to be that way.

I have many members of the IC that did not buy MMM first.
