Hello all,
Trying to tidy up our music delivery experience with some more personality, and decided to imbed album art into every mp3 on our first album.
I confirmed that in my itunes player that the image shows up, and also emailed the mp3 to a friend, and he said the image appeared as well after downloading.
My friend and I are both living in the Mac world, and I realize that there are other players besides iTunes, so I was curious to know if the artwork will be also seen/available when being played on other music players.
I don't have a windows system as of right now, so I cannot test this nor do I know other top players Windows users may be using.
Any advice would be great if an across-platform technique is available to preserve the image for any player interacting with our music.
Thanks in advance!
- Matthew
I know that 100% of time time that I have tried adding images for clients there are problems. It seems to work for some users and not others. I'm not really clear what the rhyme or reason is. You'd need to test. I'd suggest sending the file to a friend with a PC as a starter and see if the image appears for them when they play it in windows media player or similar, as well as iTunes on their machine. But I'd have them try WMP first. Another option (that I haven't tried) is using VLC media player, since you don't have windows.
