Thank you John! -Bri
Glad you liked the idea 🙂
Sorry, I'm not clear what you mean by "both of those one time offers". Are you asking how to offer the membership site as an upsell or something else?

I just re-read my question and it's pretty confusing the way i asked it.
I think i was sleep deprived when i wrote it lol
The answer just dawned on me:
When they buy an album they're presented with an opportunity to purchase the membership site, which is normally 79 bucks a year, for just 29.95 a year. But that discounted offer expires as soon as they close the page. Just like a normal upsell.
I think I was making the scenario way too complicated in my head - Please scratch this question from the record
Cool. Yes, it would be just like a normal upsell. However, I don't use the one time offer setting to make it go away after one visit. I choose my words carefully to state that it's a special offer than doesn't exist anywhere else and they can lock in the price if they sign up now. But I try to avoid anything like "this will expire as soon as you leave the page". Just because some people do come back. But it's not a huge factor.
You also don't need to do such a huge price difference. It can help compel people, but it also makes it harder to sell at full price. Which you would want to do if you ever set up a funnel just for the membership site. I was more trying to suggest a range in price between $29.95 and $79.95 then as a rule for the price difference between the normal retail offer and an upsell. But if you only plan to sell it through special promotions and upsells, then a price differential like that might be a great idea.
