I'd just wanted to see if anyone would mind checking out the samples on our album page and giving me some ideas on bands/artists we're similar to, to target. Here's a link - http://jamcatmusic.com/jamcat-album/ Thanks
This might seem like an odd reference, but Queensryche is who came to mind for me. With Maybe some Alice N' Chains in the mix.

Thanks John, I like both those bands. I don't know how many of the samples you got to check out and I don't know if this is a bad thing or not but I'm curious do you think a big contrast between the songs is a negative? I mean, I think there's a lot of difference between Our song "Dreams" and say "Melissa's In Leather".
I don't think the contrast of the songs is a bad thing really. So long as you pick one angle and lead with that in your marketing. It's not always necessary to share samples on a sales page. If you find that you start getting a decent amount of subscribers but few sales, it's possible the contrast could be hurting the sales process and you might want to remove the samples from the sales page. But while I think it could throw off the marketing, I don't think a varied album will hurt you with people who have gone as far as to buy your music. If that makes sense.

That does make sense to me, because even if it is varied the core sound will still be us and if the ad angle captures the overall direction of the music than it should work. If that's what you mean?
I was more getting at the fact that you could limit, or even remove the samples, and still make the sale because of a compelling sales funnel. But what you said is also true.
