Just throwing this out there but would anyone be interested in a JV partnership to possibly help grow each others list? I am a 26 year old singer-songwriter in the soft rock space, very much John Mayer esque kind of music. I have a list of just under 600 people in UK, AU, US and would be looking people with lists of a similar size and in these same areas.
I am not sure how we would do the JV as i have never done this before but am more than willing someone on the finer details if they are interested.

Just FYI, I moved this to the networking forum. You'll find it there for the future.
The way a joint venture would work is that two artists would promote each other. You'd send a blast to your list to offer them some free music, and the JV partner would do the same. If one person has a bigger list that person can either send to only a portion of their list or negotiate some other exchange.
Good luck finding someone. I haven't seen many musicians give this a try over the years, but it's an age old strategy for growing one's list.
