Hey everybody! I have great hopes for this whole Insiders Circle gig, and thanks again John for putting it out there. I am still slowly implimenting the tactics from MMM, as I have been putting most of my efforts into finishing my new CD. I have a few rough tracks on my website…."Faded Old Flag" is a song I wrote as a tribute to our soldiers, and "Photograph" is, well, self explanitory! Both cuts have been reworked for the actual CD, especially the vocals on Photograph, but I would appreciate any feedback anyone has to offer. The other song on my website, "Son of a Seaman's Daughter" is from an earlier release. My new CD is a combination of songs in the same vein as the 3 songs on my website.

Here's the link to my website and squeeze page:

What would a jam session with Gordon Lightfoot, Collective Soul, and Damien Rice sound like?

Check out Greg Parke and you’ll have a pretty good idea!

Nice Job with the squeeze page, Greg.

Not to make too much work for you, but clearly that page is great for people with relatives in the service and you could target traffic that way to get people to this page.

You could pick another track to give away on a different squeeze that may be geared to a different group of people.

Nice work man.  Please post your results when the opt-ins start rolling in.

-Steve

Hey Greg, for some reason I wasn't able to open the link to your main site. Maybe just a temporary glitch. I'll check back later.

Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? Or perhaps you’re just looking for a little one-on-one assistance so you can ask questions that pertain to your specific goals and get a second, more experienced, perspective? Working now, thanks. Looks good. I think I have been there before, right?

Hi John,

Yeah, you've probably been there before. I was the guy that had way too many problems getting my squeeze page up, most likely due to glitches in the computer I was using at the time.

BTW, I just downloaded and installed a program called "Article Reviser Software"  Looks interesting!

Thanks for the reply Steve I just got a decent working computer back again, so now I can really tear into John's advice in MMM2. I'll definitely post the results soon.

Unless we're talking about two different things, Article reviser is my software. Is that a crazy coincidence or were you eluding to that?  http://articlereviser.com/

John, this software is new to me. I only know of the writing in Ezine from your MMM2.0. My main issue is still driving traffic to my squeezepage. Just downloaded the free program and watched the video.

Had some questions though. With marketing Samurai I came up with, for instance, "yoga cd". There is no article on Ezine about this topic... Do I look for an article on google then? I heard the word-count for Ezine was raised, how many words, paragraphs etc. are required at the moment?

Would be nice if you could go deeper into this material here. Maybe cover this topic in a lesson. I'm sure there are alot of others who agree. Also very interested in the test-case you speak about.

Thanks! Jasper

Ps. I want to know about all topics and comment on everything, hope I don't drive you crazy 🙂

Not driving me crazy at all. That's what this forum is for 🙂

The word count was raised to 400. Tales a little longer, but not prohibitively so. And yes, if EZA doe snot have an article for your keyword then turn to Google. Or just use your own experience to write the article. When I know a topic well that is what I do. Yahoo Answers can be a good place to get ideas as well as people are aksing the questions they want answers to. Takes the guess work out of it.

The ideas for training modules are starting to stack up but I'll certainly throw article marketing on the pile. My ghost writer is taking forever but as soon as he gets me my articles and I publish them I'll share the results. Maybe use that as an excuse to create a training module.

In the meantime, if you have questions about article marketing, maybe start a new thread under traffic generation and we'll get the conversation cookin' there.
