Hi
I recently joined the IC and would like to get some feedback please on the tracks from my album so I can narrow down my potential audience. Please see the below link -

With that in mind, here's my basic squeeze page which will probably need some changes once I've narrowed things down, but would love some feedback on this too please - whether it's related to the music targeting or the wording/format etc.

The free track I'm giving away is - Blue Harvest
Thanks in advance
Nick
Hey Nick,
Good to have you here in the IC. I'll be honest, I'm not a big electronic music guy, so I don't have a lot of references to offer, in terms of what it sounds like to me. I wouldn't want to send you in the wrong direction with a comparison that wasn't really that well founded. Hopefully someone else has a few suggestions. Stuff sounds good though.
The squeeze page looks pretty decent. My biggest complaint is probably the picture. It's not a bad picture, but something about you looking off to the side takes away from the feeling of any connection. I'd try to find something where you were making eye contact and were a little more front and center. I think the headline may be a little flat. But not so much as that you couldn't use it as a starting place. I think you want to try and dig in a bit more to what those potential fans really want and then make a bold claim about how your music can deliver on that. Then distill that into a headline. It;s the experience, not the logistics... If that makes sense. But again, you do at least accomplish describing what the music might be like and that's a good start. But if you run traffic to this and it doesn't convert, those would be my first suggestions. Good start though.

Hi John
Thanks for your feedback. I've watched your stuff on troubleshooting etc. so thought the headline could possibly use some work in the "delivering an experience" department. Although, I think I may also test this headline on facebook ads targeted at the bands mentioned.
Not happy with the picture myself as it doesn't really say - Electronic music - but good point re: lack of eye contact, I'll pilfer some of my other band shots and try them instead.
Thanks again!
Happy to offer some feedback. Hope it helps. Good point about the photo not screaming "electronic music". I didn't even catch that (and should have). But you're right. It made me think of the Smiths, or something along those lines... for whatever that's worth. Let us know how you do.
