Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I took John up on his 2 week offer and have decided to stay on the insiders circle.

I'm half of a folk duo called Hobbyhorse from the San Francisco area.  I also host a popular internet radio station that features instrumental acoustic guitar called Radio Guitar. I'm also an artist and graphic designer. I'm working on a way to combine all of these things, as well as my partner's talents as a guitarist and music teacher,  in my marketing.

Here are my websites:

Hobbyhorse on facebook

Radio Guitar

Guitar Art Shop

I look forward to sharing my marketing journey with you all Laugh

Welcome to the circle Annie! I'll check out your links

What would a jam session with Gordon Lightfoot, Collective Soul, and Damien Rice sound like?

Check out Greg Parke and you’ll have a pretty good idea!

Thanks for sticking around Annie. You've probably already started doing this but if you have a captive audience already, be sure to be promoting your squeeze page to your radio show audience. When you feel you've maxed it out you could even charge other musicians for the same kind of promotion. If you ran some tests to a special squeeze page that you could track and you got a decent amount of traffic I think you could find a ton of people interested in paying to get a piece of it. I would if the price was right 🙂

Could be a bump in subscribers and revenue right there.

Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? Or perhaps you’re just looking for a little one-on-one assistance so you can ask questions that pertain to your specific goals and get a second, more experienced, perspective? Hi Annie,

my name is Joe Ress - I perform under the name of Joe Passion ( a stage name from an old band that stuck.)

I went to your facebook site for Hobbyhorse and had a listen.

I like what you're doing. Songs are very good - you know what a verse and chorus is.

I've been signed up here for a while but never seem to get enough time to do much on the sight. Time is my enemy, ugh.

Keep up the good work.

I have two new CD's I'm just starting to promote.

you can have a listen at

and

I'm interested to know more about your Biz and radio station

Thanks

JOE

Hi Joe,

Thanks for listening.

I went to your sites to hear your music and all of the songs started playing at once!!!

I use google chrome. It might be worth checking if this happens for anyone else or if it's just my computer. ( My computer has been acting up lately.)

I'll try listening on i explorer and see if that helps.

Annie

On my browser (firefox) they didn't all start playing at once but they did all load at once without me clicking on anything. That may cause some performance issues with your site and eat up a lot of your bandwith, just FYI.
