Hey Marty,
It really depends what kind of feedback you want. There is personal opinion and then opinion of commercial potential. I only had time to quickly sample one song from each but...
1. Page 9. Sounds professional and on par with things I've heard before, but when it comes to pop rock it needs to really jump out at me to get my attention beyond... meh, sounds good. click away. But I'm pretty apathetic with this kind of music.
2. Box Car Junkies is more my speed and while I didn't see it as a perfect match for the alt country market, I could see a song long long distance lullaby connecting with main stream country fans. But if I'm being brutally honest I think the production needs to be beefed up a tad before it's ready for main stream radio. But it's more than good enough to be released independently as is.
3. Michael LeClerc was also professional and everything and I'm sure he will find an audience. But it's not really a sound I personally respond to and a quick sample of the song radio didn't do anything special for me.
I really don't like to criticize artists because on a purely artistic level I think all these guys are good. But the only thing that resonated with myself and my sense of what would be easiest to sell was Box Car Junkies. It's all about the story for me. And long distance lullaby had a story. The music only needs to set the stage and stay out of the way, which it did.
just my opinion. I'm sure they will vary.
