Hello my fellow insiders.
So, it's taken me a few months of blank stares, drool and gaping jaws to finally convince my band, The Prisoners to let me handle the marketing using the methods we talk about in here. I'm the rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist with these guys.
I don't have my sales funnel up yet, but the squeeze page is live.
Please, stop over, critique my squeeze page, share your thoughts/ suggestions... and by all means, sign up for a couple of free tracks on us!

Also, John, do you suggest a one-time offer on confirmation or should I handle that through follow-up after they've had a chance to review the tracks? My gut tells me to wait on it as far as music is concerned.
Thanks y'all,
-Steve
Hey Steve,
Looks great. the only thing from my perspective, (and this is minor), is that the opt in form itself is a little subtle. You might try increasing the size a little and maybe play with the border. i also thing the red dotted border looks a little squeezed in against the purple border. But again, I'm splitting hairs here. I'm sure it would do fine as is. I just think you could push eyeballs to the opt in fields a tad more.
I think a one time offer on the thank you page is worth trying. You'd need to test to know. I'm going to run some tests on one as well pretty soon. It might work, it might be too soon. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't grasp this stuff because the risk of turning people off might be to high, but you know what you're doing so I think there's a good chance that might work well.
Having trouble with your marketing? Wish you could have an experienced direct-to-fan marketing expert look over your actual campaigns, music, or content and offer feedback? Or perhaps you’re just looking for a little one-on-one assistance so you can ask questions that pertain to your specific goals and get a second, more experienced, perspective? Thanks John,
I appreciate you taking a look. Yeah, I think you might be right about the optin box.
First off, I never like having it at the bottom of the page, but I kind of got strapped for space (because I chose to use video vs plain text for the reviews)
Does look a little "white", huh?
I'm already working on a variation of the that side of the page, with the optin box above the album cover (hand-drawn arrows, etc.)
Like I mentioned to you, I plan on doing a case study, so maybe I'll send half the sign-ups to a one-time offer right away and see how it goes.
Sounds good. As you know, there's no telling how people will respond. You might as well test this design since you already have it, then see how the tweaks do. I look forward to seeing you case study.
