If you see the recent interactions on this thread on page 6, I was trying to only change the background of my squeeze page to white whilst keeping the designed image on all the other pages, you then sent a link giving instructions on how to do this, I then followed the instructions word for word and noticed that it was only changing the colour behind my designed background as seen in attachment IMG_3910.jpg (this screenshot is me lifting the page up on mobile with my thumb which reveals what's under the designed image). I attached all the screenshots of my customisation settings so you can see that my designed background image is actually layered on the background, at least that what it says. Which is why Im confused why the background color never changed and only the color underneath that did, which changed from dark grey to white as seen in the attachments. And I cant remove the image as that will remove it on all the other pages. Hope this sheds more light. Thanks John
It seems like this is going to present more coding challenges as even if we manage to make the background white, then I would need to somehow change the text color from light to dark as well as the email form text color but only on this page. Not really sure what to do here.

Unfortunately I'm not following this. I would need a screenshot video I think. I don't follow the background on top of another background question and I must have misunderstood your original question. You can only have an image background or a colour background, not both. My apologies that I am not understanding the question.
Changing the font colour would be pretty straight forward. You can do that in the customizer.

I think maybe a better approach and question would be, how do I remove the brown background image from only the squeeze page? And also, how do I change the body text color on only the squeeze page. Ive attached my squeeze page below. Thanks John

Unfortunately there is no way to remove the background for just a single page without using custom code. It should be as simple as some custom CSS but I'm not a coder and you'd need to hire someone for that. You could probably find someone on Fiverr really cheap.
The body text colour can be changed using the rich text editor. Just select the text and then click the colour tab, and adjust accordingly. If you wanted it to be standard on all of your squeeze pages you would also need to custom code something.

Cool thanks I'll have a look into fiverr gigs for that thanks. I'm not sure how complicated this would be on your side, but maybe a possible theme update in the future with this feature might be super useful to everyone here in the IC. I'm sure a lot of people would love this as it brings the best of both worlds.
