Thanks for sharing. I'll take a peak when I have a sec. My only concern with something like that would be that for most people who don't have private severs I think the bandwidth would become an issue if they were sharing video with a lot of people at once. Certainly worth looking at though.

Hmmm, What if a bunch of us from the Insiders Circle teamed up, scheduled a series of concerts on StageIt, one right after the other, and collectively promoted the series to all of our mailing lists? As I said in an earlier post , it takes a few weeks to get an account set up with StageIt, so it might take a little time to co-ordinate something like this. Anybody interested?
Hey I'm down for sumthin like that. I've had my Stageit acct for about 6 months but havent used it yet either. Let me know.
MUCH LOVE! BChris

Hey Greg and all,
I have tried Stageit and loved it. I hung out at my home, had dinner w/ my family and then went downstairs, played for 45 minutes (included encore), took requests, interacted w/ folks from CA to New Zealand , went upstairs and put my kids to bed and made $80. It was easy, and great to be at home. I would like to do it again and love the idea of getting some artists together to do a string of shows thru MMM and promote it together. Kevin, "Insiders Circle Concert" sounds sweet.
I realize this post was 2 years ago but figured I would chime in as I just joined up yesterday.
Thanks all,
chad from Vermont
Hi Chad,
Some bands are hard-pressed to make $80 playing at their local watering hole, so the fact that you are making an easy $80 from home is just fantastic.
Thanks for the feedback on your experience.
Cheers!
Yes Steve, tis true. Love to pick your brain about Philly rooms. we did Grape St. back when it was on Grape St. and have friends who play World Cafe but seems like Fort Knox to get in there. One of my fiddle players is Brian Fitgerald--really great player and guy too. Let me know where you've had luck and maybe a gig trade or 2.
peace,
chad
An online music festival is not a bad idea. Could be fun. I'll put my thinking cap on. We definitely have the community for it here. Could be quite simple really, an online lobby that links to the different stages. Everyone uses an affiliate link. The Lion's share goes to the person who referred the ticket sale. A percentage gets split by everyone, and a percentage goes to the house for hard costs, promotion, etc. I'm going to see what I can do. Could be fun.
