Hi John,
I am currently running ad sets to 3 different countries, within a campaign, with campaign budgeting switched on. I haven't selected ad set spend limits (a new box I just noticed!), and I wonder whether maybe I should have done that, given that facebook might suddenly direct a lot of my budget to one country? So here are my questions:
- Do you still deem it important not to go over $1 per day per 10,000 people in the audience?
- For example, I have created a 3% subs lookalike of New Zealand (age 24-64), and I reckon the size of the audience is about 120,000. So would it be important to put an ad spend limit of $12 per day, in order to not throw things off there?
Thanks !
Karen
Hi Karen,
Steve here from support. John asked me to jump in and give you a courtesy reply, as he is away tending to a few things. He asked me to apologize for the delay as well.
He’ll be back at the desk soon and I’ll make sure he can get back to you.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

If I'm understanding you correctly, that option is only on when you have campaign budgeting turned on.

Bigger audiences are better. So in an ideal world you would have more than 10,000 people per $1 spent. But that is a doable minimum.

Yes, but 3% is tough. I never go above 1%.
Best of luck.
