Hey John,
So I ran my second ad with all the winning elements after initially testing the waters with my first ad using dynamic creative. I somehow was able to cut my cost per lead from $1.26 to $0.55. I’m super happy with the results! That being said I’m not entirely sure how much the sales conversion rate will improve as it did not do so well the first time. I think it’s the offer and I wanted to test offering a physical cd instead of only digital downloads in an alternate funnel I made on tunepipe. I thought I could just edit the ad and switch the funnel links in the ad so the traffic would go to the new funnel. However I remember you cautioned against editing the ads that were running as it could screw up the ad. Should I edit the ad to put in the new funnel like or make an entirely new campaign? Thanks!
Hi Enzo,
That's correct, editing live ads that have been running for a while usually end up causing the campaign to start under performing. I would pause this campaign and then clone it and create a new one. Or even run it side by side with the old one.
Alternatively you can keep the link, squeeze page, and ad the same but change the pages inside of the funnel itself to test your offer, which is probably what I would do.
Hope that helps.
