Hi John,
I'm wondering whether you consider the estimated conversions numbers at ad set level in order to decide whether to run an ad? For a couple of my audiences (which I've tested a bit already), the estimated conversions are below 10, with the graph suggesting only 3 or 4 per day for my daily budget of $20 which is the amount I tend to start with these days- so pretty bad esimated subscriber costs. Would this put you off? I'm finding the information on some of my lookalike audiences generally a bit temperamental, (sometimes having no numbers for audience definition or estimated daily results at all), so I'm not sure whether to take these numbers seriously.
I'm partly asking because I'm starting afresh on some lookalike audiences, without the detailed targetting ticked this time. I'm wondering whether facebook is predicting bad numbers, because I had it ticked the last time I tested the same audience...
Thanks !
Karen
Hey Karen,
I put zero stock in the estimates. They are almost always way off. And take the fact that you often see small, or no estimated reach with a grain of salt. Those estimates have been way off for a while now, ever since the cambridge analytica scandal.
