Does anyone know if there is still a setting on your facebook fan page that the fan must 'like' your page before viewing its contents? I've heard mixed things that its gone away and still available... anyone know?

Hey Brandon,

I haven't set one up in a couple of months but last I knew, yes, you can still do that. What you're trying to do is create a Facebook Reveal Tab.

I only just skimmed this but this seems to be an up to date tutorial: http://ustandout.com/facebook/.....ebook-page

Let me know if that doesn't work.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to add a FB "like" button to my Thank You page as a call to action once people sign up for my free download. I'm using the html page you provided. I've tried iframe and also the html code (couldn't figure out where to paste the plugin code on the html version.) Thought I could just paste the code where I wanted it to appear but that doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions?

Web design can vary so much from template to template it's hard to say without diving in there. Have you checked it online? This could be a Seamonkey issue as well. You may need to view it outside of Seamonkey in order to get it to work. One thing you might consider is using Viral Music Player. You can use an audio call to action with your voice thanking people and telling them that if they would like to unlock the download just hit share, like, or tweet. That would be pretty straight forward,

ok... i'll try it outside of seamonkey. The thank you page is a response to them submitting their info for a free download... just thought I'd have the like button there as an additional call to action since I don't yet have a more substantial offer...

I wouldn't add a new call to action until AFTER they confirm. If that is what you're saying then it's certainly fine. VMP would allow you to do that in a much cooler way than just a facebook like button. But a button would certainly work. We are about to introduce an upgrade to VMP which functions similarly to Viral Referrer which allows you to give anything away in exchange for a like/share/tweet. That allows you to create a second bonus on the confirmation page and is probably the ideal solution.
