I am going to post my press release here so that people can give me feedback before
I send it live to the world.  The keyword I'm trying to target is "dark wave bands," and
these are the words that I will anchor text to my article entitled "Dark Wave Bands" which
is currently ranking 1st page, 7th for that phrase on  Google.

Keyword Title:
"Dark Wave Band Releases CD Despite Financial Uncertainty"

Attention Title:
"Local Musician Risks All In Pursuit of Dream"

[After reading Christine O'Kelly's Hub thing on press releases, she said to create two titles,
one that was keyword targeted, the other as the "attention grabber." How this will be used
in the actual release, I have no idea, but these are the titles I came up with.]

Also, the repetition of my old band's name is purposeful as I have many fans who tell me
that they prefer the "old stuff," meaning the stuff that I played on. So I'm trying
to tie in the fact that this new music will probably suit their taste as well.

Summary:
Tim Curry, a founding member of the Cruxshadows, best known for his guitar work
on the Cruxshadows' 'Night Crawls In...' and 'Telemetry of a Fallen Angel' CD's,
releases 'Pocketful of X-Rays,' the first full-length CD from his dark wave band,
Sapphire Rebellion.

Dateline/First Para: Tallahssee, FL (OnlinePRMedia) Independent artist and producer,
Tim Curry, releases the first full-length CD from his act, Sapphire Rebellion, a
325-run limited pressing entitled, 'Pocketful of X-Rays.' While stylistically
reminiscent of the first two Cruxshadows' albums, 'Night Crawls In...' and
'Telemetry of a Fallen Angel,'Sapphire Rebellion blends elements from dark wave,
gothic, and industrial music into a sound that is frequently compared to renowned
dark wave bands like Peter Murphy, Joy Division, and The Cure.

Body:
After first finding success as the guitarist of the original Cruxshadows, Tim moved on
after five years with the group to pursue his own music and learn the craft of
music production. For years, he worked as a programmer during the day, and in the
evening tirelessly perfected his songwriting, performance, and mixing skills.

Realizing in late 2009 that the 40-hour-a-week job was becoming an obstacle to his musical
ambitions, he resigned. But duplicating the musical success of his early years has proven
a challenge for the veteran performer. Two years have passed since he left the work force.
With only his life savings supporting him, creating an income via music has been elusive.
"I was confident that I'd be breaking even after one year; I'm not, and the money's almost
gone," Tim recounts. He goes on to say, "A lot is riding on this release; it will determine
my immediate future course of action."

The release, entitled, 'Pocketful of X-Rays,' includes seven original songs,
all written and performed by Tim, and a cover of Planet P Project's 'Why Me?'
a song that Tim identifies with strongly at times, being a struggling musican.

Tim relates,"The bulk of my time is spent finding people who might like the music I make
and convincing them to listen to it." In that regard, Tim is still determined to find fans
that will love his particular dark wave style of music and gives away the first track from
 'Pocketful of X-Rays' at: http://www.sapphirerebellion.com/rcfree-download

Fans of dark wave, goth, or industrial music, as well as fans of dark wave bands The Cruxshadows,
Joy Division, Peter Murphy, or The Cure will enjoy the sounds of Sapphire Rebellion.

Boilerplate Statement:
Tim Curry is an indepentant artist and producer. He was a founding member of the now
internationally known Cruxshadows. As a producer, he helped the US-based Girls on Film make
it from the attic to the touring circuit. He tours regularly to build his fanbase for Sapphire Rebellion.

I'm sure that I've left something out, but I'm ready to get it out there so if anyone can see
something I've forgotten, please comment.  Thanks!

It looks good to me. I may be wrong but I assume that when she says two titles she means combined as one somehow. I don't think you can offer title options.

IE "Dark Wave Band Releases CD Despite Financial Uncertainty - Risking All In Pursuit of Dream."

You might ask her for clarification though. I haven't come across this advice before.

The advice was given in a "hub" that Christine had written, which I believe is in the Online PR Media
blog.  The editor that reviewed my press release clarified that point for me:

"Christine was suggesting you should have 2 headlines to potentially use with different outlets to distribute your news and alternate between the headlines -- essentially, if you are putting a PR out on Online PR Media *and* PR Web, you would try to use a different headline on each to break it up a bit."

She went on to say exactly what you did, since I was only releasing through Online PR Media, to combine the two, which is what I did, but I kind of like your version better.

Cool. It's interesting that their default advice incorporates distributing through PR Web as well. Or at least assumes that you might be. Makes me wonder if PR Web is really the best way to go. I've been leaning that way but hoping to make Online PR news work just because of the price difference. Haven't come to a conclusion yet. Let me know how it goes.
