Just trying to get some imput on my squeeze page. I have a page for FB news feed ads, and mobile feed ads. Right now they are bother converting a little over 20%.  But I'm concerned Im paying too much for the conversions. I Haven't gotten any sales because its only a few days in and the offers have not been sent by aweber so not much to go on if im turning a profit.

My news feed ad has a CTR at 3.2% and it says my avg price I'm paying for clicks is .40cents, but my cost per conversion according to FB is $3.82 at the highest. some pages/ads were a little over a dollar some around a dollar.

my adds all consistently have good CTRs So maybe its my squeeze page?

can yall check it out and if you have any suggestions fire away. Thanks, the page link is below

Hi Scott,

Steve here.

I just took a look and I noticed you are using two different squeeze pages for general traffic and Facebook ad traffic, so that's definitely good.

However, I'm wondering if perhaps you should have more squeeze pages for the different variations of your ads.  Of course that's assuming that the targeting is different for each ad.

Each target audience is likely to respond differently to the same message, which is why it is sometimes necessary to tweak the message for different groups.

For instance, you said this page is converting at 20%, which is slightly on the low side.  I can't help but wonder if you would see a stark increase in conversions (and therefore a lower cost per conversion) if you were only sending one ad to this page, while coming up with more tailored pages for the other ads.

On a side note, I see you are using copy similar to John's copy on your default squeeze page.  What are those conversions like for you?

Hi Scott,

This is a bit of an odd one because your click through rate is decent and so is your conversion rate but the cost per conversion is really high.

It sounds like a lot of people are engaging with the ad but not clicking over to the site. On top of that, your cost per click is pretty high for a 3.2% CTR.

Who are you targeting and how long has this ad been running?

I think the squeeze page headline might be able to use a little work, but let me know the answers to those questions first.

FYI, it's Friday here in New Zealand and I will be off line until Monday, so if I don't respond right away, I'll hit you back after the weekend.

Hey guys, Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it.

So first off, for the add with the CTR of 3.2% I ran for like 2 days. I targeted United Sates, and TX Country Music Fans on FB news feed.  News feed squeeze page is at 19.% now and I've paused all the adds. The problem with that number is I've had multiple adds feeding that squeeze page on FB news feeds ads over a week or so. so Ive been doing that a little wrong. Like Steve said, I will make one squeeze page for one add in the future so I can more accurately judge these numbers.

The default/main squeeze page with the headline similar to John's is converting at 29.4%. I also made my first bundle sale today so that's good! Hopefully more start coming in. Now I don't know haw to accurately measure where the traffic to my main squeeze page is coming from. I've entered a lot of emails by hand from collecting at shows and other places.

This weekend I will set up FB adds in the correct way and run longer than a day or two and see what happens. I've also got some guest blog spots I've secured and contacting venues I'm playing/played and asking them to put my link on their email blasts and FB pages. So Im curious to see what happens in the next few months. Y'all have given me a new focus and  hope. Thanks!

Scott

That's awesome Scott. While it sounds like there is still some refining to do it also sounds like you're pretty close and on the right track. 29% is great and 19% is not bad. But most importantly you're seeing sales. So all the elements are there. You just need a little refining and time.

You can set up multiple squeeze pages for each ad, or you can just create one squeeze page for facebook ads and use your FB conversion stats as a guide. As I've mentioned, I don't find them to be completely accurate. But they are close enough to indicate which ad is performing best. If in doubt, just run one ad set at a time. That's usually what I do. I just personally find it to be a pain to build too many squeeze pages. I typically just do one for each traffic source and then run that traffic slowly and pay attention to what's happening.

Great job and keep us posted on your progress.
