Just wondering if anyone has any insight on if it's ok to follow people directly from from someone's list of followers? In other words, if I were to go to someone's twitter page and click on their followers, and then go down the list clicking follow for those people. Besides not following too many too quickly, is it ok to do this or can this get your Twitter account in trouble?

Also, does anyone know how to search for people tweeting about whatever artist but, also by their location at the same time? Thanks in advance for any help. Just wanted to make sure its safe.

Hi Darrell!

I haven't had any trouble from following another person's followers.

I've only added the 50/day, which is the limit as far as I understand.

Hey Darrell, no there is no problem at all with following the people someone else is following. That is very common practice.

As for finding keyword based tweets in certain locations just use: https://twitter.com/search-advanced - Add your keyword and a city in the "near this place field. You'll also see a bunch of other cool options there as well.

Elmo, John,

Thanks very much for the replies. Was hoping there wasn't a danger in adding people that way but wanted to make sure.

John,

Thanks for the advanced-search tip. I probably should have seen that already. LOL!

So we can actually look up people in specific locations who are tweeting about the artists we want to be asosciated with? So, for example if I knew we where going to tour germany for example, and lets take Berlin as an example, I can see who are tweeting about those bands in Berlin?

Yes, that's right.

For example, here is a search for people talking about Bob Dylan in Berlin: https://twitter.com/search?q=%.....8;src=typd
