I asked myself lately, how can I setup a button on my website, so that a click on that button triggers a conversion event in Facebook, like all our thank you pages do when someone signs up to our mailing lists.
It's pretty simple with those, because you just create a custom conversion with an URL. But with a button?
I mean of course there must be a way. All these landing page companies like hyppedit do it right?
Anyone got a good tutorial somewhere?

Oh of course, sorry forgot to specify. I want to build a landing page that has a button which leads people to a song on spotify. A click on that button I want to be the conversion goal.
Services like hyppedit want me to pay $9 per month to have something like that, but I figured I could build it myself.

OfflineThanks John that got me at least a little closer. But now I seem to have a different problem:
I can't seem to set up a custom conversion anymore. The "create" button in the ads manager window is not clickable anymore, it's greyed out. See screenshot

I can't even set up a page view conversion anymore, like we use for MMM.

I didn't use that window in years, because I set up my thank you page conversion etc. in 2017 and I think it looks very different now, am I missing something? Entering a "coversion value" does nothing.
